JMC NEMA17 IHSV42-40-07-24 Integrated Closed Loop SERVO Motor

The JMC IHSV42-40-07-24 Servo Motor features a space saving integrated driver removing the need for an enclosure that would hold larger external drivers. These servo motors have less holding torque than stepper motors but they can reach high speeds whilst maintaining that torque, they also use easy to control Step & Direction signals to modify the position of the motor.

The closed loop system provides realtime feedback to accurately adjust the rotation so no steps are missed. The resolution can be adjusted using the microswitches on the front of the driver, there are 16 different combinations ranging from 400 – 40,000 pulses per revolution.

We use one of these motors to drive the bobbin on our CNC Guitar Pickup Mini Coil Winder. The servo is required as we need high speed whilst maintaining torque due to the pickup mounting plate.

These Motors are genuine motors supplied from JMC directly they are suitable for 3D-printers, coil winding machines, CNC routers, lathes, robots, milling machines, or motorised gantries. Compatible with CNC controls such as Beamicon, Eding, Estlcam, GRBL, Linuxcnc, Mach3 and many more.
